Maybe it&#039;s just a Telus thing, but if I send a text message from my Telus cell phone to a Telus landline, the landline rings and tells you that you&#039;ve been sent a text message. If you press 1, a computerized voice reads the message to you. It also sends me the following text in response:

&quot;Message was successfully delivered to an answering system at phone system 780-555-5555. Thanks for using Text to Landline from TELUS.&quot;</description>
