It's the Sierra Wireless EVDO Rev A version and so far it's awesome. I haven't played a lot with it. But my plan on Telus is $100/mo for unlimited data in Canada <em>and</em> US ... with unlimited access to the Telus HotSpot areas too. You're right this is a game changer for people. I'm looking forward to being able to connect anywhere ... like friend's houses where the access is sketchy at best. Yesterday I got an EVDO card from Telus.
