June 29th, 2008Is it me or is the Blackyberry flip phone fugly?

Posted by Editor in Uncategorized

Don’t get me wrong. Here at WirelessNorth.ca, we really like the lines of the upcoming bold. But what’s the deal with the kickstart flip phone from Canada’s own Research in Motion? The thing kinda looks like a fat blackberry pearl with another pearl stuck to the top of it. At what price would you buy one of these?

I think its cool and it a lot cheaper than other bb's and has all the fetures of the others.

I don't care if its ugly, I like the idea. I only use flip phones because I tend to just chuck my phone in my purse where any sort of external screen will be scratched and unidentifiable within a week. The size makes it more like a cell phone and less like a freakin' EEEpc. Plus, I like that the flip style makes the fact that it is a blackberry somewhat less obvious because I'd like to minimize the chance of theft. Way more appealing to me than the stupid iphone.

ya but if its as easy to use as all the other BBs than it's all good. Im glad they're attempting to make reasonably sized BBs again. Since the pearl there's been the curve, the 8800 (aka the brick) and the bold which i think is bigger than the 8800 if not the same. During the summer i have to cary a purse just for my phone when i wear shorts and a T...know what i'm saying. And that don't go down all that well around my hood...lol
