What progress? They're raising their prices like crazy (from 30$ for 6GB to 30$ for 3GB) just because people were too afraid to use their data plan because of prices...
Sorry, I don't see the improvement, nor a proper justification for their prices.

This is definitely a step in the right direction. There will always be some sort of shortcoming when in comes to wireless in Canada. New carriers will bring new approaches from the big 3. Expect more changes and expect to be treated like a customer someday.

Note that the $30/6GB/mo plan on the Bold does NOT allow BES! Who knows if the announced future plans will support BES at those rates or not. So, if you're a corporate user, you need to pay either $45/300MB/mo plan or $100/1GB/mo plan. I am not ready to don't call that progress for Rogers quite yet.

At 30 bucks a gig, i'm surprised they aren't teaching people how to tether their phones.

Wait, Rogers DOES allow tethering? I figured that was a no-no, like with most other carriers.

..."Can we move on to extortionate roaming charges, long distance rates and per-minute billing then?"...

Where is the petition for:
- a by second billing and a ban of by minute billing.
- the eradication of the term "long distance" when talking about the same country or at least the same province.
- sending the whole CRTC team members to Viviane Reding's office in Brussels for a few weeks so she could wake them up.
