Their idea is that they are cheap and cheerful enough that you can own in a addition to your main computer and they are just powerful enough to get a reasonable amount of stuff done in a highly portable formfactor. <br><br>And then the rumor is for redesigned macbooks out the second week of October, likely to be a least a little slimmer than the current version and, if not under $500 quite possibly under $1000.<br><br>When will a mac ever have built in 3G? there's a whole other question. That sounds good. My macbook is like 1 year old this september. I should immediately ditch it and upgrade? Honestly the thought never occurred to me.
