I think the era of everyone wanting to be an A-list blogebrity are over. There are now at least a dozen different very good reasons to blog, and rather than looking for the common factors among “top” A-listers, you want to look for commonality in methods of bloggers who are trying to do the same things as you.

I'm dying for wireless carrier competitions to drive cell phone plan price DOWN! I'm so sick of Rogers' 3 year contract and system access fees. Believe me, if Yak (or any other newcomer) can offer combined VOICE and 5Gb DATA plan for $25/month; the newcomer can take out a very big portion of smart phone market share. I am waiting, hopefully this will happen within next 6 months…

Thanks for the writeup, I was just at Mars and saw it on the screens... I guess they don't update them too often :)

I do wonder what the exact coverage areas will be. I've always thought it was more difficult to provide decent coverage in downtown areas due to all of the structural elements, people living/working at various altitudes and all the concrete that people like to hide in between.

I do wonder what their data plans will be like. I think they'd be pretty smart to get a lot of early revenue by marketing a DSL/cable replacement that'll work great when they have all of that extra bandwidth at the beginning.
