I just ordered the dext did i hear that it will only be good for 2 yrs because i have a 3 yr plan with bell and the dext only last 2 yrs is that right.

The most important caveat is that it won’t last you well a full 3year contract. It’s a good 2-year phone… that Bell is selling 6 months late. But then again the stats say most people do replace a phone every 18months anyway. Otherwise, you can expect it’s CPU to struggle with future apps as faster Androids become the standard.
