Better late than never, but we were getting a lot of requests to repost. In case you missed it, presented this Septemeber to a standing-room only crowd, and the top rated session at FITC Mobile 2010 in Toronto, with charts from WirelessNorth.ca Probably though, you had to be there or something ;)

Q3 data is just coming out, so watch for an update sometime soon-ish.

I thought Telenor is also working in Canada. Norway and Canada has similar kind weather.

I am for the first time in front of you I think. Its really a great design ever seen. A website is of less use if not giving business.

Why no Data Only Plans for Smart Phones??

With the advent of Google Voice, and the general improvement of VOIP applications, it’s easy to use a
data only connection to make very clear voice calls, most often free of charge due to time, distance or
    quantity.
Modern smartphones have apps that are entirely web-based, and yet data for smartphones is doled out in
ridiculously small quantities, and all Canadian providers without exception INSIST that you can’t have a
data plan for a smartphone without having a voice plan first.
Data-only plans are available for tablets, but not for smart phones.
Using VOIP on smartphones, and changing the plan emphasis from voice to data seems an entirely
logical choice in light of the the way both the internet and smart phones are evolving.
It seems that by adding voice, and making the data option prohibitively expensive, our service providers
are desperately trying to steer us back to the past.

I don’t get it – data is data. Why the discrimination?
